Per ESPN, Rocco Mediate had minor arthroscopic surgery on Monday that will force him to miss the Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines this coming weekend. This is the same site where Rocco battled it out with Tiger Woods for the US Open Championship in 2008 .Tiger went on to win the US Open title, but the match boosted Mediate’s status with fans everywhere. Tiger Woods won’t be playing this event either as he continues to rehab his knee post surgery.
