hey guys,i was looking at a test that Golf Magazine took about some of the best putters and the top 2 were the Macgregor V-Foil and the Callaway 2 ball putter.i wish i could by either one but right now i was able to afford a callaway white hot #9 long neck (thats the full name of the putter) i hit my putts hard but the white hot surface is really forgiving thats y i like it.if any of you have advice on other putters would appreciate it.

I think it would help if I had one with that white surface if it's forgiving, as I tend to have a hard time finding the right pace.

yes if you have trouble w/pace the "white hot" surface is the way to go.to me its the most forgiving.might have a hard time finding one at a decent price but its worth it.

If you don't mind a "previously loved" club, Golfsmith and Edwin Watts usually have good deals on used clubs. Also, keep an eye on their outlet/clearance items. They will occasionally have great deals there too.

I am in need of a new putter as well. Although, first, I should probably get a new putting stroke....;)

ROFL man i hear ya.i used to read greens really well (and i still do) but lately i seem to be putting worse than usual:confused: wish i could figure it out but fortunately my drives and 5 wood shots along w/my shorter iron shots are better.

I like it. I have noticed that I tend to put better with it compared to other putters. I think the way its weighted forces me to subconsciously hit the ball with a softer stroke. I don't rocket the ball several feet past the hole any more.

haha thats why i liked it also, there was a lot of weight in back so it just tended to help me

Yes, I was think about purchasing some used clubs. I was looking into Craiglist or ebay but I'm preceding with caution.

Hello All:

Wanted to see if anyone could help me out - does anyone know anything about this new putter on the market called DREAMLINER? I just so happened to run across it while I was overseas doing business. Never had a chance to put one in my hands but from what the people overseas tell me this putter is very hot in Europe right now - only a few have made it to the states. I have been on a few other blogs and no one seems to have heard about the putter at all. Just thought I would ask. Thanks!

Just bought one last week....love the putter! I tested out quite a few of the big manufactorers that are on the market now and felt like this putter fit my game the best.
