I manged to put a three inch crack in my driver today, so now I need to get a new one.
Any recommendations?? The bigger the club head the better. I tend to be able to hit those better, since they have the larger sweet spot.
So what should I get??????

At Golf Town a few weeks back I tryed out this driver and it was massive but felt oh so good... The thing that stopped me from buying it was the price, If I were more experienced I would have splurged, but theres no need for so much club when I can only use half of it.
It's the Nike SasQuatch 460.

I've read good things about it. Price is an issue, but I think I can get a good used one fro around $150. I also like some of the Big Bertha drivers. There again, I may go used because of the price.

My brother actually uses a Big Burtha and when he connects, it's an easy 250-300 yards. The ping those clubs make is fantastic.

I went to the PGA Superstore today and I think I've narrowed my choices down to the Callaway X 460 CC (http://www.golfsmith.com/products/CA1000) driver, the Cleveland Hi Bore (http://www.golfsmith.com/ps/browse.php?Ntk=All&N=280561+1847818+1847815+282014+4294965948&Ne=26&sid=615ce662351c7592f2594b115e51478a), the Cobra LD F Speed (http://www.golfsmith.com/products/COB4815) and the Nike SasQuatch Sumo (http://www.golfsmith.com/products/NK790).
I didn't have a chance to hit any of them today, so I'll need to go back and test them out before I settle on one.
Now I need to start looking for new irons as well...

I settled on the Callaway X460 (http://www.callawaygolf.com/en.CLUBS.Drivers.X460Driver.html). It's frickin' sweet.

Awesome.
I was at Wal Mart last night and went to the golf section, they had a 460cc Top Flite driver for $60.00, It felt like a really nice club, too bad I didn't get to test it out...

Overstock has a 520 cc driver called the Green Monster for $50. I am tempted to buy it just to carry it in my bag and hit every now and again.

I am sold on Clone golf clubs. I recently purchased a Ping G5 knockoff called a z-5. At a demo day, I was hitting the heck out of the G5 as well as a Hibore. I decided to get the G5 if for no other reason than that is what I have fore irons. Unfortunately, I did not have the $299 they wanted. I went got a the Z-5 clone for about $95 and I swear that I am hitting it exactly as well as the G5 I tested. Try going to www.GenericClubs.com and see if there is anything you like there.

Thanks for the information! I'm going to check out this website. I really like playing with a driver that's not really heavy. I was thinking about purchasing a Callaway FT-5.
