My husband and I went to the course last week and I embarrassed myself in front of the people. LOL! I was playing at a public course and was teeing off on #17. When I took my swing the the club head of my driver came off the shaft at impact. The club head went further than the ball and the people sitting at the clubhouse had a good laugh. LOL! Do you guys have any embarrassing stories?

I was young (8) and just learning. It was like my second time on the course. It had sprinkled the night before so the ground was a little slick. Anyways I went to swing, badly I might add, and ended up flipping myself around. Think a Matrix moment. I landed on my butt, and my step-dad was laughing himself so silly he had the hiccups for the next two hours.

Really, I can imagine you have a lot of great stories to tell about your family. Tell me, that your step father didn't laugh until after he ask that you was doing good.

Yup, Last November I got dismissed from Jury Duty at noon. Raced home changed and grabbed my gear. Went to my home 9 holer, paid for 18 and had the place to myself. It was great. After the sixth hole on the first round, I walked back out onto the third fairway and played 3,4,5 and six again. After finishing my first round started out again. Got to the second hole which I completly despize. Now I've played 13 and a half holes, you'd think I was warmed up. I teed up and hit an absolute bomb directly right, through about 30 feet of tree's, over 15 feet of a stream and landed squarly in the center of the fairway of the private country club adjacent to my public course. I'm alone right? Nobody saw that shot... Wrong! two guy's on that course ride up to my ball realize it ain't either of theirs and proceed to throw it into the stream. My ball wasn't even worth tossing in their bag. Had a wonderfull time though all in all. But I think of that shot each time I get to that tee box now, and I still hate that hole, just got another reason to.
