I really not good at hitting my approach shots from the rough to the green. Do you have any tips for hitting the ball from the rough?

I guess I will continue to practice until I work through this problem. The old adage is practice makes perfect.

I never hit from the rough, so I can't help you...
If only that were true...:)
When hitting from the rough, I try to determine what the shot would be like from the fairway and then add a little bit to it. For example, if the shot, were it from the fairway, would take a half swing, then I'll bump it up to a 3/4 swing or full swing (depending on the cut of the rough). This helps me make a good shot and compensate to some degree for the slowing of the club head as it passes through the tall grass.
Also, be sure to make a complete follow through. Too often, you see people chopping at the ball in the rough, because they think that will some how get the ball out quicker. It may, but it will likely have no loft to it and you'll be taking your next stroke from the rough on the other side of the green. Make sure you follow through and get loft on the ball.

Answer depends on the lie. Is it sitting up or down. Generally, the worse the lie the more loft you will need to advance the ball. For example if you usually would hit a 3 iron 200 yards but you are in 3 inches of tough rough you wouldn't compensate by taking more club. You would most likely have to take less club (a club that you know you can put on the ball and advance up the fairway), and take your medicine. It is better to do that than trying to force a shot, top it and end up with the same problem on your third.

Hitting the ball from the rough is really very difficult. Only pro can do it. If you want to success in hitting , you have to be train in a long time. but I think you shouldn't spend so much time to do that
