I was thinking about going alone to get a little practice. But, I usually go with my husband and a couple of friends. Do any of you guys go alone? If so, how often and is it any fun going alone?

Yesterday, I tried golfing by myself and it's more fun golfing with your buddies. But, I had a great time focusing and playing a better game by myself.

I prefer golfing alone, it is my time away from the whole world. But now I have a partner: my soon to be 1yr old. I throw him in a jogger, caddy my own clubs and away we go. I get more exercise puching the jogger and carrying the bag. And I get to spend time with my son and still enjoy my life! But man you should see the looks i get from the guys!!! One gentleman tried to get me banned from bring my son. Luckily the management decided not to listen to him. So I am the weird female who insists on bringing her kid :P

I can't believe those guys would try to get you banned for bringing your kid. I don't have any children but when I have some I will bring them to the course. I guess the guys can stare and call me the weird chick. Do your son enjoy being on the greens?

Oh yeah, he attracts all the ladies. Too bad i am not a guy, I might get a date! i was amazed at the audacity! I mean really, what is a 1yr old hurting? But i think this was a matter of him not wanting women at the club anyways. Apparently they have tried running women off the MENS tuff. Their plans kinda went to bust when the club's owner hired (OMG) a woman to run the course. I think I was just an excuse for them to cause trouble. Our club does provide a drop off daycare I could take him to, but then he doesnt get to see the greens or me. Plus the exercise is worth it.

i love playing by myself. very relaxing. Besides my friends take way to long to look for balls and if they get ahead they dont want to putt in until i get on the green.

I have always want to play golf all by myself. It's more relaxing and stress-relieving. I just would get to enjoy the paradise-like golf course for myself. I sometimes don't like company like friends or business partners when golfing. It would defeat the purpose of golfing, more time will be alloted for business talks, for instance.

I like to golf alone, it allows me to focus on my swing thoughts before and after I take each shot. I feel like it helps me to zone in more so than with a partner. However there are some down falls to golfing alone: you do not have another set of eyes on you to let you know what mistakes you are making and you also do not have the same amount of pressure on you. Having that pressure to perform is part of the game, and it prepares you for a time when the pressure is really on and the stakes are higher.

Wa ! Mizuno JPX 800 Driver
The Mizuno JPX 800 Driver (http://www.golfclubs80.com/goods-236-Mizuno+JPX+800+Driver.html) utilizes Mizuno's new Ultimate Dynamic Stability (U.D.S.) technology for
explosive distance from anywhere on the face. U.D.S. unites a forged Titanium Hot Metal face, an ultra
-thin crown and a strategic internal weighting system to greatly increase vertical and horizontal
moment of intertia. The result: maximum ball speeds and massive distance, even outside of the sweet
area. The 460cc Ti Construction features a six-piece plasma welded design, which provides an
extremely solid feel and allows for precise center of gravity placement for a high launch with low spin.
Combined with an internal five-gram heel weight that helps square the face at impact, the JPX-800
driver will help you hit the ball longer and straighter than you ever have before.

I sometimes golf alone too, it rally helps focusing on my game skills.
I agree it seems like there's no point in it sometimes because of the lack of a coach to yell on you:)
