Saturday, Mickey and I took on Copyboy and Smitts at Sugar Creek, in a battle of the Old Guys (me and Mickey) vs. the Young Guys (Copyboy and Smitts). Sadly, they bested us by 2 strokes (we played best ball). Even sadder than that was that they had to cheat to do so.

How did they cheat you ask?? I don't know, but I'm positive that they did. Very few people can match my golf skill, much less my skills combined with Mickey's. So clearly they were doing some shady score keeping or something.

Regardless, Round 1 goes to them. In Round 2, we will get our sweet revenge.

lol i take offense to this since im a young guy.also whats your strength in golf??mine has been my short game and putting but lately its my driver (cept a slice) and my 5 wood.

My strength varies by round. For example, Saturday, I was pretty good off the tee and putted very well (for me), but everything else was terrible.

Then, in other rounds, I'll be poor off the tee but ahve an excellent mid and short range game. I basically lack the discipline to practice enough to put it all together in one round.

Sound, like you guys had fun. Are you sure they were cheating? Maybe it just wasn't your game. LOL!

Actually, Mickey and I are the old guys and Copyboy and Smitty are the young un's.

They weren't cheating. I'm just trying to do anything I can to justify losing to them. :D

Smitts is quite good and was the main reason they beat us. Copyboy can drive the ball a LONG way, but not usually very straight. On 18, though, he drove it a mile down the fairway and they were on the green in two (par 5). While they were up there on the green, we were somewhere in the woods. That was pretty much the difference...
