The 9th Annual Carl Spackler Open is a national golf trip/tournament expecting a 72-90 golfer field.
The next tournament will be held at Poplar Grove in Amherst, VA. Presently ranked (Golf Digest) as the 13th best course in the state (private & public). The tournament fee is $365 and includes 4 nights, 3 rounds of golf with cart, 6 meals, GPS, bag storage, range balls, unique contests, thousands of snacks, evening entertainment (across the street from the hotel) including 6 different bands, baseball ticket, onsite/online scoring, leaderboards, pairing sheets, $3,000 in gifts & prizes, and awards presentation. Other options include 2 additional rounds of golf, 1 additional night lodging, coach bus transportation to/from course/hotel/stadium, and apparel.
The handicapped open tournament is for golfers who can shoot under 140 strokes, is not offended by golf and beer together, and wanting to meet fellow golfers nationwide.
