I've created and patented a putter that is better than the usual putter. It's more helpful. When dangled the Levelstroke putter has a raised section at the back of the putter that shows level. This is achieved by balancing the toe and heel parts of the blade. The level section I call the horizontal bar and it's at right angles to the shaft. The beauty of this is that you get a better reference as to the breaks on the green when you dangle the club. This can really help.
The Levelstroke is actually a four part putting system. First, look sideways at the putt to determine downhill uphill, which affects speed and break (breaks more downhill). Second, look toward the hole to determine left/right break and mark your stroke direction line. Third, a direction bar jutting out the back of the blade aids in setting direction when the club is placed behind the ball. Fourth, the direction bar is kept in line during the stroke aiding squareness of strike. That's about all you could ask of a putter.
This putter has been used for a couple months by me. It does help. I'd say one or two fewer putts per round. Once you've tried the Levelstroke, you'll never go back. The system helps you think through your putt so much better. I've tried going back to a regular putter. Not the same. I now depend on the Levelstroke.
I'm looking for manufacturers to develop the levelstroke. I live near PGA headquarters in W Palm Beach FL. Let's get this puppy up and running. It makes golf more fun to sink a few putts every now and then.
